Placements24 invites a Senior Civil Engineer specializing in Water Resources Management to join our client’s team. This fully remote role focuses on water supply, wastewater treatment, stormwater management, and riverine engineering across South Africa.

You will lead planning, design, and implementation of diverse water projects, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with national standards while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Water Resources or Environmental Engineering.
• Pr Eng registration with ECSA is required.
• 8+ years of professional experience in water resources engineering.
• Experience with hydraulic modeling software (EPANET, HEC-RAS) and GIS.

Responsabilités

• Lead design and development of water infrastructure projects (dams, pipelines, treatment plants, flood control).
• Conduct water resource assessments, hydrological studies, and demand forecasting.
• Develop and implement sustainable water management strategies and policies.
