Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Water Resources Civil Engineer to join a progressive team in a fully remote capacity. Role focuses on water supply, wastewater treatment, stormwater management, and flood control, delivering sustainable solutions for communities.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in water resources, strong modeling and CAD skills, and an understanding of environmental regulations. Remote work offers flexibility and opportunities for growth within water resources projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with Water Resources or Environmental focus.
Minimum 5 years in water resources engineering.
Proficiency in hydraulic modeling (HEC-RAS, SWMM) and CAD.
GIS experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

Design and analyze water and wastewater systems, including pipelines, treatment plants, and pumping stations.
Develop stormwater management plans, including hydrological and hydraulic modeling.
Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments for water resource projects.
Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
Ensure designs comply with environmental regulations and water quality standards.
Collaborate with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and project teams to achieve project objectives.
