Job summary

HID Global in Durban is seeking a Senior Systems QA Engineer to validate end-to-end physical access solutions, spanning hardware, software, mobile credentials, and system management platforms. You will run system-level, UX/UAT, and interoperability tests in a hands-on lab to ensure performance and user experience meet requirements.

The role combines lab work with Agile delivery and requires travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or engineering.
• 5–7 years in software testing with UX/UAT focus.
• ISTQB CTFL or equivalent UX/UAT cert desirable.
• SAFe/Agile delivery experience desirable.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Integrate PACS portfolio and report on system performance, stability, and UX.
• Maintain and evolve the test lab for 24/7 operation and upgrades.
• Execute system-level test plans and validate non-functional requirements.
• Design test solutions for how components integrate into the full system.
• Produce clear test reports for stakeholders and coordinate with teams.
