Placements24 is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer specialized in Power Electronics for a fully remote role. You will design, simulate, and test high-performance power converters (AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC), develop control algorithms, and collaborate with firmware and mechanical teams in a distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Electronics.
• 6+ years hands-on design experience with power electronic circuits/systems.
• Proficient in simulation tools and PCB design; experience with high-power/ HV systems is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop high-performance power electronic converters (AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC).
• Perform circuit simulations and analysis using LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink, PSIM.
• Select power semiconductor devices and passive components; design control ICs.
• Create schematics, PCB layouts and BOMs.
• Develop and implement control algorithms for power converters.
• Design and conduct validation testing for prototypes and production units.
