Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to design, optimize, and mentor within a fully remote team. You will lead medium and low voltage distribution projects, develop protection schemes, perform system studies, and ensure regulatory compliance from anywhere in the world.

The role emphasizes remote collaboration, mentorship of junior engineers, and strategic planning for power systems across facilities and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in power distribution engineering.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) registration is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and optimize medium and low voltage electrical distribution systems.
• Develop protection schemes and coordinate relays for distribution networks.
• Prepare detailed engineering designs, specifications, and technical reports for distribution projects.
• Conduct system studies, including load flow, short circuit, and stability analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers and field engineers, in a virtual environment.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support teams remotely.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
