Placements24 invites applications for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our remote-first team. You will design complex electrical systems, run simulations, and guide cross-functional integration from a home office.

We seek a holder of a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of experience, strong CAD skills (Altium, Eagle, OrCAD), and solid knowledge of power electronics, control and embedded systems. Remote collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical design with proven project delivery.
Proficiency in electrical CAD software (Altium, Eagle, OrCAD) and simulation tools.
Strong understanding of power electronics, control systems, and embedded systems.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills, with remote work experience.
Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of complex electrical systems and schematics using CAD software.
Conduct electrical analysis, simulations, and testing to validate designs.
Collaborate with mechanical engineers and software developers for seamless integration.
Prepare technical documentation including specifications, BOMs and test reports.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to project planning and execution.
Stay current with technologies and industry trends to implement innovative solutions.
