Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Front Office Manager for a beachfront resort in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. You will lead the reception and guest services team, ensuring a warm welcome and seamless check-in/check-out experience for guests.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years in Front Office operations with 2 years in a supervisory role, strong leadership and English fluency, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest service in a fast-paced resort setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in Front Office operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory/management role.
• Experience in guest relations and complaint resolution.
• Knowledge of hotel operations and front desk procedures.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Fluency in English; other local languages advantageous.
• Experience in a resort environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Front Office operations including check-in/out and guest inquiries.
• Lead, train, and schedule the Front Desk team.
• Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Monitor room inventory and optimize occupancy and revenue.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and guest experience.
• Process guest payments accurately following financial procedures.
• Develop Front Office procedures to improve efficiency.
• Provide regular performance feedback to staff.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and F&B.
• Stay knowledgeable about hotel services and local attractions.
