Placements24 is seeking an Executive Housekeeper for a premier beachfront resort in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. You will lead the housekeeping department, oversee rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces, and manage a dedicated team with a focus on delivering an exceptional guest experience.

The role requires strong leadership, meticulous organization, and a proven track record in housekeeping management.

Competenze

• 4+ years of experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a resort or large hotel.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse team.
• Strong understanding of housekeeping operations, cleaning techniques and sanitation standards.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with keen attention to detail.
• Knowledge of inventory management and departmental budgeting.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; flexibility for weekends/holidays.

Mansioni

• Manage and direct all housekeeping operations including rooms, laundry and public areas.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent quality.
• Recruit, train, supervise and motivate housekeeping staff.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to standards.
• Manage linen, cleaning supplies and guest amenities inventories; ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Oversee departmental budget and optimize resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and sanitation regulations.
• Handle guest requests related to housekeeping promptly and efficiently.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance for smooth operations.
• Maintain aesthetic appeal and functionality of all hotel spaces.
