Placements24 seeks a Resort Operations Coordinator for a premier Richards Bay resort in KwaZulu-Natal. The role ensures smooth day-to-day resort operations across front desk, housekeeping, F&B, and guest services, driving guest satisfaction and efficient service delivery.

You will coordinate resources, support department managers, and implement operational improvements while training staff and maintaining safety standards in a vibrant hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality operations, coordination or a similar role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with PMS.
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
• Customer-centric approach with a focus on service excellence.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in hospitality.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays.
• Located in Richards Bay or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the coordination of daily resort operations, including front desk, housekeeping, F&B, and recreational activities.
• Support departmental managers in resource allocation and scheduling.
• Manage guest inquiries and requests, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare operational reports as required.
• Assist in the implementation of new operational procedures and guest service initiatives.
• Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers for maintenance and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security protocols throughout the resort.
• Support the training and onboarding of new operational staff.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Act as a point of contact for guests and staff during operational shifts.
