Placements24 seeks a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to join a remote-first team developing IoT and smart home technologies. You will architect, design, and implement embedded software for MCUs and RTOS, optimizing for performance and power.

The role requires 6+ years in embedded development, proficiency in C/C++, ARM Cortex-M/ESP32, and embedded Linux. Collaboration with hardware, software, and product teams is essential. Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 6+ years hands-on embedded systems experience.
• Proficiency in C and C++ for embedded apps.
• Experience with ARM Cortex-M and ESP32 microcontrollers.
• Strong RTOS and embedded Linux knowledge.
• Experience with I2C, SPI, UART, Bluetooth, and Wi‑Fi.
• Git and CI/CD experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test embedded software for microcontrollers.
• Architect robust embedded systems with suitable hardware and protocols.
• Implement RTOS and device drivers.
• Optimize code for performance, power, memory.
• Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams using Agile.
