Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to join a globally distributed engineering team. You will design, develop, test, and deploy complex embedded systems for cutting-edge IoT products, working entirely remotely from your home.

The role requires a Master’s or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering with 8+ years of embedded experience, strong C/C++ skills, ARM Cortex-M expertise, RTOS and embedded Linux familiarity, and excellent problem‑solving and

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years in embedded systems design and firmware development.
• Expertise in C and C++ for embedded applications.
• Strong knowledge of microcontroller architectures (e.g., ARM Cortex-M).
• Experience with RTOS and embedded Linux.
• Proficiency with embedded debugging tools and techniques.
• Solid hardware-software co-design and system-level debugging.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects remotely.
• Experience with wireless protocols (Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, LoRa) is a significant advantage.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and implement firmware and embedded software for microcontrollers and embedded systems.
• Write efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code in C/C++.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and system tests for embedded software.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to define system architecture and troubleshoot integration issues.
• Optimize embedded systems for performance, power, and memory usage.
• Participate in the full product development lifecycle from concept to production.
• Debug complex embedded systems using JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Stay updated on RTOS and IoT protocol advancements.
