Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer for a fast-growing IoT technology client. You will design, develop, and test embedded software for microcontrollers, interfacing with hardware and optimizing for performance and power usage.

You will write clean C/C++ for RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, VxWorks), develop firmware and drivers, implement IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi), and collaborate with international teams to drive robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in embedded systems development.
• Strong proficiency in C and C++.
• Experience with RTOS such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or VxWorks.
• Solid understanding of ARM Cortex-M architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement embedded software for microcontrollers and IoT devices.
• Write clean, efficient C/C++ code for RTOS.
• Develop and maintain firmware, device drivers, and BSPs.
• Implement IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi).
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to define interfaces and requirements.
• Perform unit, integration, and system testing and debugging.
• Optimize embedded systems for performance, power, and memory.
• Use Git and agile methodologies; contribute to automated tests.
