About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior E-commerce Operations Manager to oversee and optimize all aspects of their online business operations in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. This critical role involves managing inventory, order fulfillment, logistics, customer service, and website performance to ensure a seamless and exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in e-commerce operations, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to drive efficiency and cost savings. You will play a key role in scaling our operations to meet increasing demand and maintaining high standards of service delivery. This position requires a strategic thinker with hands‑on operational expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end e-commerce order fulfillment process, including warehousing, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Manage inventory levels, forecasting demand, and implementing strategies to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with third‑party logistics (3PL) providers and shipping carriers.
• Implement and refine operational procedures to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance delivery times.
• Manage the customer service team and processes, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of customer inquiries and issues.
• Monitor website performance, uptime, and user experience, working with technical teams to address any issues.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and related technologies.
