Placements24 in Port Elizabeth is seeking an experienced E-commerce Operations & Logistics Manager to oversee the end-to-end online order lifecycle, including inventory control, warehousing, order processing, fulfillment, shipping and returns. You will optimize processes, manage 3PL relationships, and implement cost-saving strategies to boost productivity and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in e-commerce operations and logistics management.
• Demonstrated experience in managing warehouse operations, inventory control, and order fulfillment processes.
• Proven ability to manage relationships with 3PL providers and negotiate service agreements.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and associated order management systems (OMS).
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all aspects of e-commerce operations, including inventory management, order processing, warehousing, and fulfillment.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize shipping processes, reduce delivery times, and minimize logistics costs.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, including negotiation of contracts and performance monitoring.
• Ensure accurate inventory levels across all sales channels and implement stock control measures to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Develop and manage efficient returns and exchange processes to enhance customer satisfaction.
