Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Business Development Consultant for our Sandton office. The role focuses on identifying and securing new client opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and driving revenue growth for a leading consultancy.

You’ll engage in proposals, market analysis, and strategic account management while coordinating with leadership to shape BD strategy. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in BD/sales within professional services, strong networking and presentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• MBA is a strong asset.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within professional services or Management Consultancy.
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Exceptional networking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets and client segments.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Lead the proposal development process, crafting compelling and customized proposals.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
• Collaborate with consulting teams to define service offerings and value propositions.
• Manage and nurture key client accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
• Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
• Contribute to the firm's strategic planning and go-to-market initiatives.
