Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the recruitment or staffing industry.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads, build pipeline, and close deals.
• Excellent understanding of the recruitment services landscape and client needs.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the recruitment services market.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities for service expansion.
• Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients.
• Negotiate and close contracts with new clients.
• Collaborate with internal recruitment teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
• Monitor market dynamics and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
• Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
• Provide market feedback to the leadership team to influence service development and strategy in Mossel Bay, Western Cape.
