Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth in the Rustenburg, North West region. You will identify new market opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and close significant industrial accounts.

Your background in industrial sales, strong networking, and ability to manage a sales pipeline autonomously will be key to meeting ambitious targets. A hybrid work model is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in business development or sales within industrial supplies/equipment.
• Track record of securing new business accounts and partnerships.
• Strong understanding of industrial landscape, mining, manufacturing, and construction sectors.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industrial sector in Rustenburg and surrounding hubs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target companies.
• Conduct market research to understand industry trends and customer needs.
• Present and demonstrate the company’s portfolio of industrial supplies and solutions to potential clients.
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to achieve long-term partnerships.
• Collaborate with sales and technical teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery.
• Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual BD targets.
• Prepare reports on BD activities, pipeline status, and market intelligence.
• Represent the company at industry trade shows and networking events.
