Job summary

AES Global is seeking a Regional Business Development Manager to drive growth in the Rustenburg mining and industrial sector. You will identify, develop and secure new business, and build strong client relationships with mining operations, EPCM teams and project managers.

You will travel regularly to sites and EPCM partners, converting opportunities into projects while supporting revenue growth and aligning with the broader commercial strategy.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in sales or business development.
• Mining or industrial background and experience.
• A technical qualification in Electrical, Control and Instrumentation.
• Strong relationship-building and commercial skills.

Job description

We're working with an established industrial automation business that provides automation, instrumentation and control solutions to the mining and industrial sectors, and they're looking for a Regional Business Development Manager to grow its presence across the Rustenburg mining and industrial sector.

You'll identify, develop and secure new business, build strong client relationships, and convert leads into new projects - working closely with the Head of Business Development and Managing Director.

What you'll bring

• A technical qualification and technical experience (Electrical, Control and Instrumentation)
• Strong relationship-building and commercial skills
• A valid driver's licence (the role is largely on the road)

Working model

Field-based / remote, based in Rustenburg, with occasional head-office visits.
