Dis-Chem Pharmacies Cape Gate is seeking a Retail Store Assistant to help manage day-to-day store operations and deliver excellent customer service. You will handle stock queries, refunds, daily cash, and communication with customers and departments to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires Matric, basic computer skills including Word/Excel/Outlook, and SAP experience. Retail experience is essential in a busy pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is essential.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and SAP.
• Retail experience is required.

Responsabilités

• Manage and report all customer compliments and complaints to management.
• Establish a professional relationship with customers.
• Ensure all customer stock queries are dealt with and resolved.
• Maintain effective external communication with customers when they require feedback.
• Assist customers with enquiries and refer to appropriate departments.
• Adhere to the customer turnover per hour rate as per company benchmark.
• Manage the shorts and overs at the point of sale, including the floats.
• Manage refund and return transactions.
• Ensure back shopping and returned goods are handled correctly.
• Verify deliveries and invoices for total accuracy.
