Placements24 seeks an experienced Food and Beverage Manager for a premier seaside resort in Mossel Bay, Western Cape. You will oversee multiple resort outlets, including restaurants, bars, banquets, and room service, ensuring exceptional dining experiences and profitability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in food and beverage management.
• Proven track record of managing multiple outlets and large teams.
• Strong knowledge of culinary trends, menu engineering, and beverage management.
• Excellent financial acumen including P&L management, budgeting and cost control.
• Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of all resort F&B outlets including restaurants, bars, banquets and room service.
• Develop and implement innovative menus and beverage programs.
• Manage F&B staff including hiring, training, scheduling and performance.
• Control costs, manage inventory and supplier relationships for profitability.
• Maintain high standards of service, hygiene and presentation across outlets.
• Plan and execute events for banquets and conferences with the events team.
• Monitor industry trends and implement best practices.
• Conduct regular financial reviews and reporting for the F&B department.
• Foster a positive, motivating environment for the F&B team.
