Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Food & Beverage Manager for a renowned coastal resort in Mossel Bay, Western Cape. You will lead multiple outlets, ensuring exceptional service quality, operational efficiency, and profitability in a dynamic resort environment.

The role requires 5+ years in F&B management, strong menu and beverage knowledge, inventory control, and staff development. You will work with the Executive Chef and department heads to maintain high standards and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a resort or hotel setting.
• Proven track record of managing high-volume F&B operations and achieving financial targets.
• Strong knowledge of menu engineering, beverage management, and inventory control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the F&B department across restaurants, bars, and room service.
• Develop and implement innovative menus and beverage programs.
• Oversee procurement, inventory, cost control, and budgeting to maximize profitability.
• Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food, beverage, and guest service.
• Train, motivate, and lead the F&B team to foster excellence.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other heads to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain high hygiene, health, and safety standards and respond to guest feedback promptly.
