Placements24 is seeking an accomplished Operations Manager for a world-class luxury resort in Mossel Bay, Western Cape. You will oversee daily operations across Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Front Office, and Activities, ensuring impeccable service and profitability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in hospitality management with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role at a luxury resort or hotel.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
• Strong understanding of luxury guest service standards and operational best practices.
• Excellent budgeting and cost control experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operational performance of all resort departments (Housekeeping, F&B, Front Office, Activities).
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Manage departmental budgets, control costs, and identify revenue opportunities.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse hospitality team.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Collaborate with General Manager to set strategic goals for the resort.
• Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to service delivery.
• Oversee procurement and vendor relationships; ensure quality supplies.
• EnsureMaintenance and upkeep of resort facilities to a pristine standard.
• Stay abreast of luxury resort management trends and best practices.
