Placements24 is seeking a skilled Virtual Event Planner to manage online events from a remote base with a focus on Paarl clients. You will coordinate speakers, sponsors, and vendors, develop content, and provide technical support for seamless live experiences.

The role requires experience with virtual platforms like Zoom Events, Hopin, and Cvent, and strong project management, communication, and organizational skills for global operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in planning and managing virtual or hybrid events.
• Proficiency with Zoom Events, Hopin, Cvent and other platforms.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; capable of leading remote teams.
• Technical aptitude to troubleshoot live virtual event issues.
• Creative in designing engaging online experiences for Paarl audiences.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage virtual events from conception to post-event analysis.
• Select and manage appropriate virtual event platforms and technologies.
• Coordinate with speakers, sponsors, and vendors for virtual event logistics.
• Develop event content, agendas, and promotional materials for online dissemination.
• Provide technical support and guidance to speakers and attendees during live virtual events.
• Monitor event performance, gather feedback, and provide comprehensive reports to clients.
