Placements24 is seeking a creative and organized Remote Event Coordinator to support a variety of virtual and hybrid events from Cape Town. You will manage logistics, coordinate with vendors, and ensure flawless execution from concept to post-event analysis.

The ideal candidate excels at planning, budgeting, and using event management software and virtual conferencing tools, while communicating clearly with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event planning and coordination with a portfolio of successful events.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple projects remotely.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of event planning and execution, including scheduling, venue liaison, and vendor management.
• Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Manage virtual event platforms and ensure attendee engagement.
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and service providers.
• Source and negotiate with vendors for services such as catering, AV, and digital platforms.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and prepare detailed reports on outcomes and feedback.
