Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a creative and tech-savvy Virtual Events Coordinator to join their remote team. You will plan, organize, and execute webinars, virtual conferences, product launches, and team-building activities for a global audience from your home office in Klerksdorp or any approved remote location.

You will collaborate with marketing, sales and IT, manage registrations, coordinate speakers, and optimize attendee engagement using platforms like Zoom, Hopin, Cvent and Microsoft Teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and executing virtual events.
• Proficiency with Zoom, Hopin, Cvent, or Teams.
• Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Creative thinking for remote environments.
• Experience with digital marketing and event promotion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute all aspects of virtual events, including platform selection and attendee engagement.
• Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, sales, IT) and external vendors to ensure event delivery.
• Develop engaging event agendas and interactive virtual environments.
• Manage event registration, communications, and post-event follow-up with surveys and analytics.
• Provide technical support during live virtual events to ensure smooth sessions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest virtual event technologies and best practices.
