Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join a fully remote HR team. You will design, implement, and manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring equity and market competitiveness across multiple regions.

Responsibilities include salary structuring, market benchmarking, yearly salary reviews, and benefits administration. A strong SA regulatory knowledge base and advanced Excel skills are essential to drive analytics and total rewards decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, or related field.
5+ years progressive compensation & benefits experience.
Knowledge of South African labour laws related to compensation and benefits.
Experience designing executive compensation and sales incentive plans.
Strong Excel and data-analysis proficiency.

Responsibilities

Design and manage company-wide compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures and incentive plans.
Conduct market benchmarking to ensure competitive packages.
Oversee annual salary review and bonus processes.
Manage benefits administration (medical aid, retirement funds, etc.).
Ensure compliance with SA labour laws and regulations.
Collaborate with HR, Finance and external vendors for program management.
Advise HR Business Partners and management on compensation and benefits.
