Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Post-graduate qualification or professional certification (CCP/CBP) is advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits.
• Experience in developing salary structures, incentive plans, and broad-based benefits.
• In-depth knowledge of SA labor laws and regulations affecting compensation and benefits.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and HRIS data analysis.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Vendor management and contract negotiation experience.
• Experience in Richards Bay or KwaZulu-Natal region is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop, administer, and communicate compensation and benefits programs.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking to stay aligned with industry standards.
• Analyze compensation data and recommend salary range adjustments and incentives.
• Manage relationships with benefits vendors and negotiate contracts.
• Administer benefit plans, including enrollment and inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with SA labor laws and regulations.
• Develop communications educating employees about compensation and benefits.
• Support HR in annual salary review and bonus processes.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
