Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Compensation and Benefits Manager to lead our HR function remotely. The role designs, implements, and manages competitive compensation and benefits programs, partnering with senior leadership to align with business and financial objectives.

As a fully remote position, you will manage programs across the organization, leveraging HRIS and data analytics to drive strategic HR initiatives and ensure compliance with SA labor laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in compensation and benefits management, including remote work experience.
• Proficient in HRIS and compensation/benefits management software.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; able to interpret complex data.
• Knowledge of South African labor laws related to compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the company's compensation philosophy, structures, and salary ranges, bonus plans, and incentives.
• Design and administer employee benefits programs (health, retirement, voluntary benefits).
• Conduct market research to ensure competitive positioning of compensation and benefits.
• Analyze data to identify trends and improve program effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with compensation and benefits regulations and manage vendor relationships.
