Placements24 is seeking an HR Specialist focused on Compensation & Benefits in Upington. This fully remote role involves designing and managing competitive compensation structures, benefits, and total rewards aligned with market trends and SA regulations.

You’ll partner with HR and Finance to support budgeting and strategic objectives. The ideal candidate brings 4+ years in C&B, strong Excel, and HRIS experience, with excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 4+ years of Compensation & Benefits experience.
• Experience designing salary structures and employee benefits.
• Strong Excel and data analytics skills.
• Knowledge of SA labor laws related to C&B.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with HRIS systems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, bonuses, and long-term incentives.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitiveness.
• Analyze compensation data and provide recommendations for adjustments.
• Manage employee benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
• Ensure compliance with compensation and benefits legislation.
• Develop communication strategies to convey C&B programs to employees.
• Partner with HR and Finance on budgeting and financial planning for C&B.
• Evaluate and select C&B vendors and service providers.
• Participate in HR projects related to total rewards.
• Maintain knowledge of C&B trends and best practices.
