Job summary
Placements24 is seeking a Compensation and Benefits Specialist to design and manage SA-wide compensation and benefits programs. The role is fully remote, supporting employees across Mossel Bay and other locations, with a focus on total rewards strategy and compliance with South African legislation.
You will analyse market data, develop salary structures, manage health and retirement plans, and liaise with benefits providers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 4–6 years of compensation and benefits administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of South African labour laws related to compensation and benefits.
- Experience with HRIS and compensation management software.
Responsibilities
- Administer and manage company-wide compensation and benefits programs.
- Conduct market research to benchmark compensation.
- Develop and maintain salary structures and incentive programs.
- Oversee health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
- Ensure compliance with compensation and benefits legislation.
- Manage vendor relationships for benefits providers.
- Process benefits enrollment and changes, accurately.
- Prepare reports on compensation and benefits data.
- Respond to employee inquiries about compensation and benefits.
- Support total rewards communication strategies.
