Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Statistics or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of compensation and benefits analysis experience.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with Excel and HRIS.
• In-depth knowledge of compensation principles and job evaluation.
• Familiarity with South African labor law relating to compensation and benefits.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze salary data, market trends, and industry benchmarks to develop and recommend competitive compensation strategies.
• Design and administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other welfare benefits.
• Conduct job evaluations and ensure accurate job grading and salary benchmarking.
• Develop and maintain salary structures, pay scales, and incentive plans.
• Manage the annual compensation review process, including merit increases and bonus allocations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant compensation and benefits legislation and regulations.
• Prepare reports and presentations on compensation and benefits programs for management.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners and external vendors to address compensation and benefits queries.
• Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in compensation and benefits.
• Contribute to the overall total rewards strategy of the organization.
