Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a driven Telecommunications Sales Executive to join the team in a remote capacity, with the role conceptually based in Soweto, Gauteng. You will identify and develop new business opportunities, build relationships, and tailor solutions for telecom products and services.

The ideal candidate will hit sales targets, communicate effectively, and negotiate successfully, while managing responsibilities from a home office. Travel within the territory may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in telecommunications or technology sectors.
• Ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Self-starter who can work remotely and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to travel within the designated sales territory.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential clients to generate new sales leads.
• Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets.
• Conduct needs analysis and present tailored telecommunications solutions.
• Negotiate contract terms and close sales.
• Build and nurture strong, long-lasting client relationships.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies.
• Collaborate with internal support and technical teams to ensure client satisfaction post-sale.
• Prepare and deliver regular sales reports and forecasts.
