Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Field Sales Representative to join a leading telecommunications provider's network operations team. This fully remote role lets you manage your territory and client interactions nationwide from anywhere in South Africa, with the Northern Cape market being advantageous.

You will acquire new business customers, promote a full range of telecom services, and strive to meet sales targets.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of sales experience in telecommunications, IT solutions or related field.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications services (broadband, mobile, VoIP) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for occasional visits.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and engage potential business clients to offer telecom solutions.
• Conduct needs assessments for connectivity, voice, and data services.
• Present and sell the company’s telecom products and services.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for new customer acquisition.
• Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with business clients.
• Manage the sales pipeline from lead to close using CRM tools.
• Stay informed about telecom technologies and market trends.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and onboarding.
