Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an HR Specialist focused on Talent Acquisition and Development to design recruitment strategies and develop learning programs. The role supports a dynamic tech-focused team and drives a robust talent pipeline from attraction through onboarding, working remotely across SA.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years in HR with strong TA and L&D experience, adept at HRIS/ATS, and well-versed in SA employment laws, with excellent communication and strategic thinking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, psychology, business, or related field.
• 3–5 years in HR with emphasis on Talent Acquisition and/or Learning & Development.
• Proven full-cycle recruitment experience in technology sector.
• Experience designing and implementing employee development programs.
• Strong knowledge of SA recruitment practices and employment legislation.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment process from profiling to offer.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract candidates.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs.
• Design and deliver onboarding programs.
• Identify and coordinate learning and development initiatives and workshops.
• Facilitate employee development plans and career pathing.
• Utilize HRIS and recruitment tech to track pipelines and reports.
• Contribute to employer branding initiatives.
• Stay updated on talent acquisition trends.
