Job summary

Placements24 in South Africa is seeking a remote HR Specialist focused on recruitment to join a globally distributed team. You will own the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to onboarding, and partner with hiring managers to meet growth needs in a fast-paced tech environment.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in HR, with 2+ in recruitment, holds a relevant degree, and demonstrates strong sourcing, interviewing, and remote communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or related field.
• 4+ years HR experience, with at least 2 years in recruitment.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with ATS and recruitment software.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and recruitment marketing.
• Excellent interviewing and assessment skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, especially remote.
• Ability to work independently and maintain high productivity remotely.
• Familiarity with SA employment market and regulations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to offering.
• Develop sourcing strategies to attract diverse candidates across roles.
• Screen candidates and conduct initial interviews for qualifications and fit.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to tailor recruitment plans.
• Use job boards, social media, networks, and referrals for sourcing.
• Maintain candidate pipelines and nurture relationships for future hires.
• Ensure a positive and efficient candidate experience throughout the process.
• Track recruitment metrics and report on hiring progress and KPIs.
• Assist with onboarding to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
• Stay updated on industry trends in talent acquisition and remote recruitment.
