Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior HR Manager to lead the Human Resources function remotely. The role covers talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and performance management for a distributed workforce.

You will shape and implement HR strategies that align with growth objectives, fostering a positive remote work environment and ensuring compliance with South African labor laws. A strategic partner to leadership, you will drive organizational development from afar.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master's degree or HR certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Strong knowledge of South African labor law and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with business goals.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention for a dispersed team.
• Manage employee relations and policy enforcement in remote settings.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness.
• Implement performance management systems and coach managers and employees.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and remote employment regulations.
