Placements24 is seeking a Senior Human Resources Officer to join their remote-friendly team. You will oversee talent acquisition, performance management, and employee development across the organization, with a focus on compliance and a positive remote work culture.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in HR, 5-7 years of HR experience, strong knowledge of South African labor law, and proven ability to manage employee relations and HR policy implementation in a virtual environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related discipline.
• 5-7 years of experience in a comprehensive HR role, preferably remote.
• Strong knowledge of South African labor law and HR best practices.
• Experience in talent management, employee relations, and HR policy implementation.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment and onboarding for all new hires.
• Implement and manage performance appraisal systems and development programs.
• Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures to employees and management.
• Conduct investigations into grievances and disciplinary matters with impartiality.
• Develop and maintain HR documentation ensuring compliance; contribute to HR strategies.
