Placements24 seeks a highly motivated Remote HR Manager to lead the HR function from anywhere in South Africa, directing talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, and compliance across a remote workforce.

You will shape the employee experience, foster a remote-first culture, and scale HR processes to support a growing organization with strategic partnerships and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in HR with 3+ in management.
• Experience in remote/distributed teams.
• Solid knowledge of SA labor law and global compliance.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with HRIS and HR technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement remote HR strategies across SA.
• Oversee lifecycle: recruiting, onboarding, talent mgmt, offboarding.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws across regions.
• Drive remote employee engagement and culture.
• Oversee compensation and benefits for remote staff.
• Provide leadership to HR team and business leaders.
