Placements24 is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to lead strategic HR initiatives in a fully remote setting across South Africa. You will partner with senior leadership to shape HR strategy, drive talent management, and ensure legal compliance while fostering an engaging and inclusive workplace.

You will leverage data-driven insights to guide organizational development, support change management, and enhance leadership capabilities across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, with significant time in an HR Business Partner role.
• Proven experience supporting senior executives and influencing business strategy.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labor law and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies across talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits.
• Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with labor laws and policies.
• Drive talent management initiatives, including succession planning, leadership development, and career pathing.
• Analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend data-driven solutions.
• Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in HR practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement HR programs supporting organizational change.
• Advise on organizational design and workforce planning.
• Facilitate effective communication between management and employees.
