Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Compliance Officer for a fully remote role. The successful candidate will develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs, advise on regulatory changes, and manage compliance risks within a financial services/insurance setting.

Proximity to Sandton is beneficial for regional understanding. Requirements include a law/finance/business degree and at least 7 years of compliance experience with SA regulations (FAIS, FICA, POPIA).

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in compliance, preferably in financial services or insurance.
• In-depth knowledge of SA financial services regulations (FAIS Act, FICA, POPIA).
• Proven experience in developing and implementing compliance programs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
