Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our South Africa team. You will research ideal accounts, identify decision makers, and craft personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone, while booking qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.

Work is full-time and remote within South Africa; you’ll maintain clean CRM records in Salesforce and SalesLoft, and leverage tools like Sales Navigator, Apollo and ZoomInfo to hit volume

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role (agency or SaaS experience a plus).
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
