Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa from a remote setup. You will research ideal accounts, identify decision makers, and craft outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone to book discovery calls for our Account Executives.

You'll maintain accurate records in Salesforce and SalesLoft, test messaging, and continually optimize targeting with the sales team.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
