Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring a Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will research accounts, identify decision makers and book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.

You will own outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone, maintain clean data in Salesforce, and continually test messaging to improve targeting. SaaS or agency experience is a plus, and grit and coachability are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
