Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Payroll Specialist to join a fully remote team delivering accurate payroll services across South Africa. You will manage end-to-end payroll processing, deductions, and regulatory compliance, working independently in a remote setting.

The role requires strong data handling, communication, and familiarity with VIP or Sage Payroll. Ideal candidates will have a National Diploma in Payroll Management (or related field), SA FP certification, and at least 3 years of

• Diploma or higher in payroll/related field; SA FP certification preferred.
• At least 3 years payroll processing experience in a large or multi-jurisdiction organization.
• Strong knowledge of SA payroll legislation and tax regulations.
• Experience with VIP Payroll or Sage Payroll and advanced Excel.
• Remote work readiness and ability to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Process and manage all payroll aspects for employees across SA.
• Calculate wages, deductions, taxes, and other adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, tax regulations and company policies.
• Manage employee data, including hires, terminations and changes in status.
• Process statutory deductions (PAYE, UIF, SDL).
• Prepare and reconcile payroll reports for management and authorities.
• Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain payroll system integrity and assist with updates.
