Placements24 seeks a visionary Director of Real Estate Development to lead a national pipeline from concept through disposition. This fully remote executive role requires steering complex, large-scale projects with cross-functional teams while advancing growth across the Upington, Northern Cape region and beyond.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in real estate development, strong leadership and financial modeling skills, and a deep understanding of zoning, construction, and regulatory

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive real estate development experience.
• Proven track record leading large-scale development projects.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and remote management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of real estate development projects from concept to disposition.
• Identify and evaluate new development opportunities with market research and financial analysis.
• Lead negotiations for land acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships.
• Secure project financing through lenders, investors, and capital partners.
• Manage cross-functional teams (architects, engineers, contractors, legal counsel) and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Navigate entitlement and permitting processes with municipal authorities.
• Develop budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections; monitor industry trends and regulations.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, including community leaders, government officials and investors.
