Placements24 is seeking a Real Estate Project Development Lead who will drive the pipeline of new ventures from concept through design, construction, and market launch. This fully remote role offers autonomy to manage development cycles across diverse locations, with focus on growth areas such as Paarl, Western Cape, ZA.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in real estate development, strong financial acumen, and expert knowledge of regulations, budgeting, and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in real estate project development and a proven track record of managing multiple projects.
• In-depth knowledge of the full development lifecycle including planning, design, construction, and financing.
• Strong understanding of real estate law, zoning regulations, and permitting processes.
• Expertise in project management methodologies and software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization and planning of new real estate development projects.
• Conduct thorough feasibility analyses, market research, and site assessments.
• Manage the acquisition process, including due diligence and negotiation of purchase agreements.
• Oversee the design and planning phases, working closely with architects, engineers, and urban planners.
• Monitor construction progress, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Drive project execution from inception through to completion and handover.
