Job summary

Placements24 is helping a leading real estate development firm fill the role of Real Estate Development Manager. This fully remote position is suitable for a strategic thinker with a proven track record of guiding complex development lifecycles from conception to completion.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 7 years of progressive real estate development experience, including feasibility studies, budgeting, and entitlements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Development, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in real estate development and multi-project leadership.
• Strong knowledge of zoning laws, permitting processes, and regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate land acquisition and development opportunities.
• Conduct thorough feasibility studies including market analysis and financial projections.
• Manage the full development lifecycle from site acquisition to design, permitting, and construction.
• Oversee budgets and financial targets for development projects.
• Negotiate contracts with architects, engineers, contractors and consultants.
• Secure zoning approvals, permits and entitlements from authorities.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and external partners throughout development.
• Ensure projects are on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Monitor market conditions and regulatory changes impacting projects.
• Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to senior management remotely.
