Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Process Safety Engineer to join a globally distributed team. The role focuses on PHAs, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance for clients across industries, all performed remotely.

You will conduct HAZOP/LOPA/FMEA studies, develop risk mitigation plans, and deliver virtual training while collaborating with diverse experts through digital platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in process safety engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) elements and global safety standards.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote PHAs (HAZOP, LOPA, FMEA) for clients across industries.
• Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Review client process safety management systems for regulatory compliance.
• Provide expert guidance on process safety engineering principles and best practices.
• Develop and deliver virtual training on process safety topics.
• Collaborate with client teams using digital tools.
• Analyze incident reports and support remote root cause investigations.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and compliance documentation.
• Stay updated on evolving process safety regulations and standards.
