Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Process Safety Engineer to spearhead Process Safety Management across global operations. This fully remote role focuses on hazard identification, risk assessment, incident investigations, and emergency planning, collaborating with site teams to foster a safety culture.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in chemical process safety, expertise in PHA methods, and strong regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in process safety engineering in chemical manufacturing.
• Deep knowledge of PHA methodologies and tools.
• Proven experience leading incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Familiarity with OSHA/EPA safety regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain PSM programs per regulatory standards.
• Conduct PHAs including HAZOP/What-If/FMEA.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and review procedures, MOC, and PSSRs.
• Oversee mechanical integrity programs for critical equipment.
• Deliver process safety training to staff remotely.
