• Perform initial troubleshooting of routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Respond to alerts promptly following incident management procedures.
• Document all incidents, troubleshooting steps and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Communicate network status and updates to stakeholders during major incidents.
• Contribute to improvement of NOC processes, tools and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• A relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or similar network support role.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other core networking concepts.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Zabbix.
• Basic knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP) and switching technologies.
• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly in a remote setting.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
